A hypermiler is one who modifies his/her driving habits in such a way to maximize the gas consumption of the vehicle well in excess of the vehicle’s EPA rating. A good hypermiler is one who can consistantly beat the EPA MPGs for their vehicle and does so in a manner that isn’t to the detriment of other drivers on the road.
